Volunteer with the Development Office

At James River Day School, we welcome volunteers to assist us with our many exciting programs. If you are interested in helping, please contact the Development Office at 434.384.7385.

Class Agents - New to James River Day School, Class Agents are parents who act as the Cardinal Fund representative for a particular grade. The goal of each agent is to develop participation in the Cardinal Fund as well as continuing to build camaraderie within their grade. One family and/or parent is needed per grade. If you are interested in becoming a Class Agent for 2009-10, please contact the Development Office prior to the start of the upcoming school year.

Bird Bash - A JRDS staple, volunteers are needed to assist with planning and facilitation of the event to include securing auction items. The next Bird Bash will be held 2012!

Mailings - The Development Office sends multiple large mailings per year that require volunteer assistance. These short-term projects usually require up to four volunteers per mailing.
