Sumdog is an online math website that the school uses to enhance our already outstanding mathematics curriculum. As the Sumdog website says, “Sumdog's educational games motivate your students to practice math.” And motivate they do! The second grade participated in Sumdog’s May 10-16 National Math Contest this week. The results: a total of 21 students successfully answered 9,660 questions. That is an average of 460 problems per child in one week! Those are some motivated kids! And they loved it. The school plans to expand the use of this highly motivational web tool next year.
