Community Service
Students make cards and decorations for Meals on Wheels.
Fourth grade students do paper recycling.
Students took turns ringing the bell for the Salvation Army.
Students collected shoes and stuffed animals for Gleaning for the World.
The JRDS community collects over 7,000 cans of food in November for local food banks.
Students wrote and illustrated picture books for the Books of Hope project, for students in Africa who have no books in their schools.
Students helped with a bake sale to support St. Jude’s Hospital.
Fourth grade students serve on the safety patrol at morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
Older students serve as Cardinal Buddies for younger students – school-wide program with one event each month.
Students walk to the Fire House at Thanksgiving to bring a meal to the firemen.
